Pickled Lemons (Hamad Mraquade)

Simmered Tofu, Rich & Juicy

Introduction & Ingredients:

Organic Tofu     Organic Shoyu    Water    Parsley   Apple Concentrate

Instructions:

Tofu, Rich and Juicy

Buy good quality tofu, Paul’s and Dragonfly are 2 I know but there are others, such as Oasis.

Take tofu out of the bag and rinse in cold water. Bring a saucepan of water to the boil.

Add tofu either as a block or cut evenly into squares or triangles, in a size of your choice, and boil for 5 mins. Remove tofu (this can then be used in different ways).

This recipe now requires Tamari/Shoyu, apple juice concentrate and water. Just cover the pieces of tofu in the pan with the carefully mixed water, tamari and apple juice conc. Make the mix not too salty, not too sweet. Bring to the boil and simmer until all the liquid has gone…watch it with care!

Serve with chopped parsley. If you wish you can cook this with bay leaf and mixed herbs. As well as served solo, you can mix it with cooked vegetables to make a stew. Enjoy.
